Description
You are a nightrider, driving through a post-apocalyptic world, blasting music, headed towards The Lost City. As you approach, glow of your techno-headlights illuminating the way. As you move closer to the city, the wrecks of other nightriders leave smudgy black smoke trails along the path. You’re different. You’ll make it.
Design Problem
We used the patterns to inform us of design elements. Destroyed machinery, smoke and burning off in the distance, and the addition of a legendary quality - in this case, a far off, ever-distant city. For the synthwave feel, we used the car’s design and prominent synthwave/vaporwave design themes. Bright, neon lights. High bloom. Synth music, vector map terrain, and a lot of palm trees and streetlights. A synthwave sun highlighting the city.
